Harry Drew

Friday 7th February 2020
Mike Elsam has posted this on Phormer Phantom Flyers Group on Facebook 😢
It is with much sadness that I must record that Harry Drew died this morning after a long struggle with Motor Neurone Disease. He slipped away very peacefully and was at home with Jan and the nursing team. He and I were contemporaries; joined the RAF on the same day, served on our first Sqn (41 at Wattisham) together, he was my best man at our wedding and we were both Sqn bosses at Leuchars at th same time. Like many who new him well I will miss him and our regular contact over more than 60 years. RIP old friend. God speed.
